This winter I’ll have the opportunity and free time to do a test day in or around Dallas, TX. The inter webs shows that Dallas karting complex looks like it might fit the bill. Email out to them to see if they can rent a proper kart for the day.
Do you know of other options near Dallas that I should look into?

If you’re looking to rent something in the Dallas area, DKC might be your best bet for rental. But it will be a Sodi rental kart more than likely. The other option you have in the area is North Texas Karters. I am not sure, but they might have karts that can be rented, or there might be a club member or two that would be willing to allow you to test there kart. As far as I know, those are the only two tracks up there.
If you were in Houston, Speedsportz Racing Park has it all.

Thank you. I did send them an email to see if they can rent something g other than a concession kart. We shall see! Maybe I can convince my company to have the national sales conference in Houston next time!
