Hi, i have an issue with my DD2 engine.
Almost every time i change to second gear, it backfires. Eventually breaking the exhaust at the assemply line. Anyone experienced this?
The electronic shift assist cuts the ignition when you shift up.
If you don’t close the throttle, a lot of air and fuel will continue through the cylinder and into the exhaust, where they are ignited by exhaust gases as soon as the engine resumes firing.

Yeah, thats what i thought, so the solution should be to adjust that ignition cut-off then? Or is there other options?
