Couple questions regarding fuel and tech.
The local series here does not require a specific fuel for 2 stroke classes. The only requirement is that the fuel must be ethanol free/unoxygenated. As such, most people run VP C12 or similar.
If C12 (leaded, unoxygenated) is used as the reference fuel, will C10 (unleaded, unoxygenated) fail to pass the Digatron test? It seems to reason that it would.
I ask because I failed tech awhile back but was near dead last so there was little consequence. At the time I couldn’t figure out why I failed running C10.
Similarly, I have a can of MS109 I want to use up. This fuel clearly will fail a Digatron test but is good enough for practice. Will this fuel leave a residue on the tank or fuel jug possibly leading to a low Digatron reading, or can I immediately switch back to a legal fuel without issue?
