Grandsons kart quit running. It has accessory power and the starter circuit works, but no spark. When I turn the key to on position, I can’t find any power anywhere but for the accesories. Checking the wiring harness, I can’t find any power at the CDI, coil or anywhere. The neutral and in gear lights work also. Im thinking key switch is bad, because only 1 hot coming out and that goes to accessories. Any ideas?
Can you give any more info on the kart? Might help identify common failure points for your particular setup
I found it. Spark plug connector came unscrewed from plug wire. Cut 1/2" off and screwed back together, Working great.
