East coast NC is vinegar based sauces and Western NC is mustard based sauces. Pulled pork is big in eastern NC. I lived in Virginia for 28 years and they have some good BBQ as well.

Best BBQ I’ve ever had came out of this place in San Angelo, TX.
And there Banana Pudding was off the chain good.
Little hole int he wall joint, run by two best friends. And they KNOW what they are doing.
