Just installed a Used, but fresh from builder (Verified) engine. In a bit of a rush today, have not gone thru the carb, checked float, plug, etc… but did spend a few minutes trying to start it. After a few pulls started pouring gas out of the vent tube. When I get back tonight, I will drain carb, check float height and drain carb. Any other tips?
Got it running, the float drop was way off and was sticking in the bowl…

Not uncommon if it had a bumpy ride on it’s way to you.
