PVL 105 458 Troubleshooting and spec. Resistance Values and Installation Guide

Found some great tips in this guide I found a few years ago on testing\diagnosing\troubleshooting PVL ignitions on two stroke engines… It shows the various expected resistance values for different PVL ignition systems.

The most common one in karting is the 105 458

Update: Somebody was asking about these ignitions today in a two stroke group on FB… While doing research I found the following curves for the PVL 105 458 ( 458115 / 105458 / 458 105) which is used in many karting engines, including KZ. Source is PVL’s own website, but for some reason sometimes takes a lot of digging to find, so I’m reposting ithere:
