Reliable 2Cycle to Do laps - kt100? Used/New

I’ve heard good things about kpv, crg, vortex kg and ka100. But for the money and parts should I just go for the tried and true kt100? Used or new?

I was thinking of direct drive any sprocket recommendations and teeth numbers?

Sorry for all the posts I’m just trying to get a concensus.

For lapping sure. Maybe even racing if there’s a field in your area. There’s a lot of them available used and inexpensive since they are sort of old at this point.
