Setup differencea between light, medium, and heavy classes

What are the typical adjustments folks do when running in different classes at different weights?

I am running 206 Heavy for the first time at CKNA in Batavia this weekend. I run club races there and am front of the pack, so my “medium” setup is competitive.

What are some things I should change first? Assuming gearing?
What should I expect a 25LB heavier kart to feel like?

Plans to start with my current medium setup, then make changes depending on how chassis feels.

When we scaled, the cross % is identical to medium, but obviously a few pounds heavier on each corner.

Chassis is a CompKart 4R.

Lots of folks leave the set up the same. Go up a tooth or 2 or 3 (I am not familiar with your track) and send it. Then adjust based on feel from there. What tires do you guys run at the club level? One thing that most club racers are not ready for is the the type/amount of rubber that CKNA puts down.

206 classes run Vegas, open tires for everything else. That said, there’s maybe 20 karts on Vegas for club. So the track will definitely grip up substantially (unless rain, which is looking awful likely)
