Tie Rod Replacement ?'s

So I am replacing both of the tie rods and heim joints on my 2011 Top Kart due to damage. Question is how do I adjust them to set the wheels pointing in the right direction and do they need to be dead straight or toe in or out?

You will need a tool to align the wheels by adjusting the tie rods. I’m not sure if this is the only one, but I use the Sniper Laser V2 Alignment tool: Sniper Americas

If you don’t know what toe setting to run, you can check the recommendations of the chassis manufacturer or search the forum.

The standard setting for toe on the Top Kart chassis is overall 2-3mm toe out (1 – 1.5mm per side).
