What did you do to your Kart Today? (2025 Edition)

do you have any onboards? looking to make a comparison between mine and yours to look at my lines.

No onboard, unfortunately. I didn’t have my camera mount installed, and didn’t think to bring my chin mount until after I was halfway there lol. Happy to send you my data though. I think we were on layout 1A, but need to double check that. Lap times were mid 36’s by end of day…one of the guys there with me is a pretty good benchmark, had been there plenty of times before, and he was 36.0 in the last session, at pro weight vs me at masters weight.

I actually do some design work for Federal Eagle coach and could CAD this concept up… Our shop has put out some interesting concepts in the last year.

@tankyx - You’re welcome to a complimentary day out at New Castle if you ever find yourself coming across the pond to Indiana!

I might be coming out for STARS at New Castle and Rotax Finals might be out at Indy again. I need to try one of these rocket ships.

You’re welcome to hop in mine for a couple sessions if you ever find yourself out here for a test day!

I’ll be there working for someone at the Stars NCMP race, so my personal engines would be available if you’re looking to get in on the action that weekend.

I was looking at a 2006 because old hearses are cheap! With the length, extended roof, slide out rear floor it’s basically a small Sprinter. Dump it on some coilovers and cool 2-piece wheels, remove the funeral accoutrement and I think it might be ideal for a small one-kart operation.

Pimp my Funeral!

Not as cool as a hearse but…last trip to Italy gave me an idea, so for the next couple of months, I’ll be building the ultimate kart transport vehicle for a privateer. Half living quarters, half garage. Stay tuned!

Looks like ~$40K worth of commitment you got there.

Privateer me arse
Carry on!

No longer racing just engine building? Figured you’d be sending it for STARS.

I will most certainly will be out at Indy sometime this year. Gotta head back to Indiana and visit family.

Back driving again last night. Mostly trying to see if my busted ribs had healed. Luckily the track direction was mostly lefts and my left side is what is damaged. Felt pretty good, but I don’t think I would survive a full race weekend running the track in the other direction.

Privateer who is doing it right.

I’d love to pull up next to one of the factory teams in an even bigger truck, put down an even bigger tent, but have a DJ and open bar and a bunch of comfy chairs, coffee tables, and lazer disco dance floor instead of rows of client karts. Would be quite the flex.

Rebel Scum house party at supernats 2026?

Y’all could come hang out. (Eurobeat intensifies)…

Evan,
I would like a batspeed sticker please. I will put it on my 911. That is a very adorable logo. I am also selling space on my next race suit and you could sponsor me today for the low cost of 1 sticker.
