That’s a considerable savings! I bet the bracket normal costs a couple hundred bucks!
With carbs and engines its wierd… I had a new carb and it was like matt kinda metal but my older one is shining like chrome… Same with my engine but my newer one is shiny and older is like matt idk if its batches or sum but they always turnout difffernt from my own experience
You must go through a lot of lock nuts
Red is clearly the choice for chassis powder coat. This Pops.
I raid my local ACE hardware every time I do a teardown and grab every box of M6 and M8 locknuts they have!
Yea, this color looks so good brand new! It’s just near impossible to keep clean and good-looking for long. Any rock chip, nick, or scratch is very obvious.
Metrics Unlimited sells them by the box of 100 for far less!
Very cool. Is floorpan a sticker?
Yep just the standard Exprit one.
Put together a couple of clutches. One with a 16T driver, the other 17T. Getting ready for Sunday at NCMP.
Made up a couple of custom tools to help tweak the frame straight. Wasnt out a ton, but more than i was comfortable selling it. Put it on my surface plate and it was damn near bang on.
Fitting a jecko seat! Those things look very nice!
But the price whent up some, I remember I get it around 160 euros 2 years before. And now it seem something like 230…
I’m in the progress of assembly my PCR/Minarelli combo. Very easy process compared to my KZ😁
Today I got the seat in and lots of other bits done, need to bleed brake system, put some fairing on and adjust exhaust to fit.
Going to buy a new steering wheel that is bigger and an inclined mount.
Still owe you a beer for the pushing! Was a fun day of racing good luck in whiteland! Will have to make it over for atleast one this year!
Getting the dust cleaned off, removing the grime I didn’t clean after my last outing last year, and taking off the national-high-grip setup to go get my first laps on the new surface at Badger tomorrow.
Not the ideal axle for a completely newly paved track…
Is type H a high grip axel or a low grip axel? Soft, hard?
Hard axle for high grip situations.
I was going to throw a Q (soft) in but I only have a bent N (medium), so that’ll have to do for now.
Finally got a new ignition module for my HF 3500 generator that crapped out on the last track day leaving us with no power / air / etc. Thankfully that somewhat educated guess and a little internet knowledge lead me to the right parts on the first try. Threw a fresh air filter / plug and changed the oil on it while it was apart.
Cleaned the kart does that count?
