I plan to race at the WKA Daytona kartweek for the first time this year. I’ll be running the Margay Ignite Masters road racing class. This is kind of a vague, open question, but those who have been there, what advice would you give to someone going for the first time? What to pack in the trailer, what not to pack, ??? Since I’ll be by myself, I’m taking advantage of Margay’s tent program. I’m still not sure whether I’ll be towing down (from northern Ohio) or finding someone who is going down and has room in their trailer. Any advice/guidance would be appreciated!
One big thing that I always wished I had was a well-lit pit area. Because of the time of year, it gets dark really early so having some lights to work on the kart at the end of the day is helpful.
