Youth Helmet 48cm?

Hi all.

I have a friend who has a 6 year old son that is getting started in kid kart. They are looking for a helmet. The problem is his head size is 48cm. I can’t seem to find anything. Does anyone know where we can find one?

Hmm…48cm is pretty small. My son started right before he turned 5, and he used a 52cm.

I bought him a Zamp RZ42Y at 54cm from Karting Warehouse, originally, but found out that he needed a 52. When I emailed them back, they said they would just send me new cheekpads and a liner to swap out, as the helmet shell was the same. Might be worth contacting them or Zamp directly, to see if they have some inserts that would size the helmet down.
