Lambda/tuning Sensors in a KZ or shifter kart

Dredging this back up again.
Long story as to why this has taken so long, involving a wrong address in a different country, and I’ve finally got my engines back together.
We think the original seizure is due to having the wrong low to mid range tune.

Tuning lights work, picked up where the tune wasn’t as good as it could be and are more stable than I would have thought. Exhaust hasn’t cracked yet.

Hello, I’ve read all the comments and I’m trying to determine whether buying a Lambda sensor makes sense… Will it crack the exhaust pipe? Yes, definitely, or Maybe not?
I have a Super Shifter 175, and relying on the EGT is not that precise while you’re racing, will the Lambda give a more precise, easy to read number?
Also, I have an Alfano 6, but in order to plug a Lambda sensor you need to buy the module to connect the sensor to, so the module plus the Lambda sensor is about 500 euros (about $600) so no need to spend that money unless it really works. I’m sure there are cheaper ways to get a Lambda reading, any suggestions?
Thanks, I’m trying not to ruin the Super Shifter.
