Quick question, if you glaze a brake pad, does this affect the disc as well?
In cars it will, because of the amount of time between being inspected. I would say in karts not so much, but it doesn’t hurt to give the rotor a light sanding every now and again.
A non-directional circular motion works best. The goal is not to remove material, just dull the polished surface. (sort of like putting crosshatches in a cylinder)
