Got me a win. Basically, the field got bamboozled at the start, most likely by the tight entry onto straight.
I qualified Pole, so I controlled the pace. I let the little Porsche pace car toodle off into the pits, and kept rolling at the same speed for a few seconds more. After a pause, I floored it. Caught unawares, I got an instant gap on the rest.
I don’t know why #2 didn’t match my start, but that worked out well for me. From there, I held the lead, passing a few folks along the way. I had to be disciplined around the tougher ones and be cautious. Fortunately, I had the gap to do so.
Anyways, a win, day 2. Off to a good start! 
Turns out that gave me the points to climb to #1 in divion 6 and 98 of 5102, globally. I am most pleased with my progress! Excessive racing works!

How about we plan for Spa on June 5? Give Olivier chance to hit 4K, and give us all practice time. 180 minute race, so figure around 70 laps.
I quite like the Audi R8, Merc not so much it’s a bit of a handful. If we’re up for it I can host a few practice sessions

ok ill try that’s a few weeks away i dont think i have anything planed for that date. also is it a mixed grid event or is it gt3 only?
GT3 only, but a few different cars.
I’m liking the Audi, I’m running consistent 1:23/1:24 on standard medium downforce setup (in iracing setups tab under garage options) which is pretty stable considering I only tried it yesterday. I reckon 1:20 is achievable, if we can run that without too many offs we should do reasonably well.
Track limits wise I need to work on my line into T1 I keep going wide. Plenty of time for practice
