And budget at LEAST 2 sets of practice tires as well.
The 2k entry fee felt less painful when we were at the Rio, in the heart of Vegas and the vibe of the event was a bit better. 2k for the privilege of driving in a parking lot out in the middle of nowhere felt less cool, but in the end you will not find a more competitive grid on this side of the world so that in itself is worth something.

Hmm.
Maybe the spleen of Vegas 
Having the casinos in the backdrop and being literally in a hotel parking lot certainly felt a lot more “Vegas” than a huge dusty parking lot on the outskirts, 30 min driving distance from town.
