so who are you pitting with?
I will be under the Franklin Motorsports/Hotz Driver Development tent.
Our team didn’t have the numbers, so we are pitting with Franklin as well. I think Doty will be helping us a bit.
Awesome! Did you put that together?
I was commissioned by some teams to put it together, fitting the map in to the location end up with a track ~27 ft wide.
What did you model for length of the long straightaway, and overall track length?
I assume speeds are in KPH?
Welcome, nice work. Do you think you’ll be able the track at some point?
One of my favorite things to do in RF2 was take inappropriate vehicles onto kart tracks. NASCAR cup and Trucks, 1980’s turbo F1 etc. They were both a handful around Rock Island, spent more time hanging out with injured virtual spectators that anything else.
After the event I’ll take my time to adjust it to the real thing and release it
The FB chatter about SuperNats27 starting to really ramp up. These are the best links I could find to track: (only for use on a computer apparently, the links don’t show the correct/current content if opened directly in Facebook mobile app)
Layout looks much more fun this year. Definitely more flowing. Excited to hit the track in the morning.
Nice photo!
20 charos
Have fun, go get 'em!!
Are they gonna use Sunoco 112?
They’re on the track!

Also, KartChaser will begin live coverage tomorrow for practice 5-6 and Qualifying, and then continue for the rest of the event days. You can see all the planned coverage times they have planned here.
Wow, looking at the list of names on the results it’s probably accurate to say that KA100 has at least 15 or more drivers that have won national and/or FIA events/championships. But I guess it’s like that in most of the senior/masters categories. (yep, just looked at master shifter practice results and it’s a murders row of FIA/National champion/event-winners)
Wow it looks fast. What mph are the KZ’s getting on the main straight?
Track is pretty enjoyable and flows nicely. Much more technical than last year. I think I ended up just barely in the top half of the field in that final session. We used our new tires a bit earlier than many fast guys though so I think there is an easy 0.4 in it yet if we get some fresh rubber on. Didn’t actually tune much today but we did move the seat forward for the final session and that made the kart really wake up. It was definitely too far back to start; could feel it right away. Kart was rotating from the rear rather than the center of the kart and the front tires were getting chewed up. Sent forward fixed that mostly. I might raise it a tick yet but I have lots of adjustments to play with tomorrow now. We are in the ball park.
Not sure about KZ but I was hitting about 69 in KA.
Track is pretty smooth too.
