But I curious as to why the faster karts don’t use old tires whereas the LO206 can use it for better performance? Is it because the power of the engine of the faster karts are able to free up the kart more you need tires with more grip to balance the kart whereas old tires would make it too free?
Understood. MG’s are just the tires everyone near me seems to run and/or prefer, so my mind automatically went toward what I know. Alot of modified 4-stroke folks say MG Yellows are suppose to be better than Reds (for them). But I’m the lone 206 guy on my track so I really don’t have anyone to compare notes with. That’s why I was curious.
Eric, I can free my X30 up just by pressing the accelerator pedal!
That’s what I was assuming, hence why you guys in X30 can’t have tires with little grip. Thanks for clarifying that up though
