Canada also on my list. Well i could be wrong for this (blame the internet) the minimum wage is lower than US but living cost is sky rocket.
Minimum wage (federally) is way higher then the US, close to double and even higher in some provinces (itās also higher then the federal amount in some states in the US).
Housing is definitely more expensive anywhere you might actually want to live (or find a job). I havenāt checked this recently but last time I checked taxes in Canada was less than taxes+healthcare in the States (healthcare is universal in Canada) and contrary to conservative opinion isnāt terrible.
Yeah I live in PA. State minimum is $7.25 but I donāt think anyone is getting paid that. Renting in my area requires around $20/hr considering a 40hr full time job.
Iāll be damn if in PA requires $20/hour. Vegas if im not wrong everything is expensive. The chief sort of give me an insight that i roughly will be pay $18/hour as a starter. That doesnt include tips

Requirement is somewhat of the wrong wording I guess. Iām sure you can get by with less but it would be very hard. My rent is pretty amazing for a small place but most apartments near me are in the 1300-1800 per month range.

Youāll be there as a teacher and technician which I think qualifies you for a TN visa. Your employer would have to apply for it.
Canada is even stricter. I was not allowed to work on my own kart there. They told me that I needed to report to CBP when leaving and told me āthere had better not be grease under your fingernailsā

One thing that i dont understand from the us is the lottery green card thing. How do i apply it from?
TN visa is for Nafta professionals. So unless the applicant is Canadian or Mexican thatād be a no go.
Canada obviously donāt look too fondly on undocumented labor but the process of getting documented is easier. For example they have the working holiday visa which is such an easy way to get in legally (if you are under 35).
