Chuck a nosecone at him sometime?
I present my zoomiest of the day. What an amazing layout. It is all turns and flinging yourself off apexes. Whee!
The laptime is very kart draw dependent. I experienced a 5s gap over the karts I drove. This would likely be a 49s kart in the hands of someone more familiar with the layout, I am sure.
Hopefully he makes tech this week so I dont have to go get toolsâŠ
Mike makes a tip video
Not to pick nits but if all the kids take only late apexes, itâs your fault.
Get why you say this, tho. I recall always turning in too early when I was new.
Your driving looks pretty good. I feel like thereâs something about traffic thatâs holding you back a touch. You need to play in Traffic as much as possible. Driving is very solid, need more races to get more comfy I bet.
Speaking of playing in traffic, I wonder what Oliver is racing these days.
I am gonna guess chin mount?
Yup⊠i thing next time im going to move it up a bit more its a bit low rn
I saw a guy on Reddit who used chin mount, neutral density filter to force slower shutter speeds, and then used a filter to make the footage a bitg grainier. Cool effect.
Pretty elaborate karting vid, Fast and Furious style:
And they even go in sand:
This is from the Blue Shock racing folks who appear to have a pretty sweet electric package going on.
Sam, I moved the video here.
Nice lap! The weather is very English. Whatâs the competitive laptimes?
Haha thanks! Still getting used to where everything is! Weather was very typical, windy too! A competitive lap around Clay in a Club 100 kart is somewhere in the 41-42 second range. Anything below 41s is pretty damn quick. Worth noting that this lap was the fastest lap recorded across the weekend by anybody. Safe to say I love the track!
This does look like great fun. I have seen similar from New Zealand which seems to have a regular meeting grass racing organization!
Who are the East Lansing lo206 regulars here?
CR250s ripping around on grass. Whatâs not to love. It looks like epic fun TBH!
