Does anyone know about carbs for 100cc air cooled engines. am looking into getting a 29mm slide carb to replace my 24mm butterfly that i currently have. It is for my vintage kart running a rotax dsc. Do they increase power across the whole rev range or just up high and is any tuning required on the engine side to utilize the bigger carb?

The larger 29mm FSA slide carbs will actually boost the mid, quite a lot. Slides are more difficult to tune of course and you give up some partial throttle response.
