I love that there’s a new layout. Unfortunately karting is out of my budget this year. Bums me out because I would have loved to try the right hand in setup.

Sounds like they can only the clockwise setup this year which is a shame, would be cool to flip a coin each year for clockwise or anticlockwise (Counterclockwise for US folks). The coin would need to be flipped pretty early of course, a lot of planning involved.

im curious to see if lap times wlll be faster or slower i think drivers will have to slow down for tighter turns but its shorter course.

Anyone else heading that way? I packed my KartPulse stickers for anyone that shows up.

i heard they were cancelling shifter? I saw an update on facebook.

Yeah essentially all shifter classes canceled this year due to low entries

Id love to make it out there. Does the surface tear up chassis’?

Crank the ride height up and send it.

totally new layout this year so who knows lol the old layout is getting some new surfacing done

Keep it outta the barriers and the frame will be OK. Hit or glance the barriers and… well yeah that’s a different story.

Can we get some shifter commitments for 2025?

I saw 28 for king of the rock 206. That’s a healthy field. I think it’s a little smaller this year but still should be a good race.

Out here doing Rock Island things

takes balls of steel to do rock island things

I guess that’s true… the spindle arm and tie rods on the other hand… :person_facepalming:
Elkhart barriers are just as bad as Rock Island barriers I hear. :sunglasses:

That’s a carbon copy of mine last year I think. Although my damage was from T-boning another kart
