I really like the fins on the nosecone, best nosecone of all brands but the Nassau is terrible
Well i dont know if i hate or like the new facelift on tony racer yet . I will wait to see it with my eyes inside the tracks and at the paddocs .
But i am sure now the expensive hollow front nosecone we see till now on the shelves gonna be cheaper for us if we go upgrade from the old sets .
I believe also that m4 sets with nascar colours on it is still hot and i am also look somekind of classic oldie this days !!
Anyone see any cadet pictures?
Maybe iām a oddball, but i sort of like the new body work. I feel certain the fins, risers, ribs on the brake cylinder will provide extra cooling.
The big question is have they addressed the seat struts that break?
yeah I think with good graphics it looks pretty awesome.
Iām sure itās just the lines that make it look smaller but will 3 digit number fit on the front number panel?
Looks like Iām in the minority here, but I kinda dig it. I just wish the number panel look less like a Rorschach test and more like a place to stick you number.
Either way though, I think its light years ahead of the hotdog bun. I always thought it looked, ummmā¦ feminine. Often made me wonder what the designer was thinking and if they wouldāve been better served by a night on the town before the design was sent in.
The more I look at it, the more I think I hate the OTK graphics package more than I hate the driver fairing. The fairing is a little much, sure, but not horrible. The graphics are just bad.
Iām disappointed the update was so incremental, if it really is just a chain guide, brake fins and new Nassau.
Thought there would be a stronger update like with a chassis redesign.
What they have is working. And I donāt think they care the average Joe breaks seat struts constantly. Sells more frames.
I think they are mostly tired of seeing big OTK teams everywhere running the 508 fairing instead of the hotdog buns.
In the modern era you stick to homogeneity on chassis. Especially when youāre bound by homologation. Humans are very dull and boring, and change in this area wouldnāt be met well within the market.
Still wish they released a 30-32mm model
They have an all 32mm non-shifter again.
Iām not sure what would compel them to change much. The product works and without a change in specs, there isnāt much of a need to change the dominant brand worldwide.
They havenāt changed the basic shape since the mid-noughties.
I am curious how the all 32 chassis would work for us taller/heavier drivers. On my old 30 I have to use the hard axle and take out caster just to get to base lline.
The 32 was made for you. Most OTK Masters drivers were on 32s several years ago. The 30 can still work fine but will take more work at that weight.
Do you think my old 30 would be good for an LO206 set up? I have heard in LO more chassis flex is better than in higher Hp karts for someone my size. Also a good excuse to run 2 classes!
Yes probably would be fine for 206!
