61 Kartway is proud to announce the 2019 Racing Schedule. 61 Kartway previously announced a new partnership with Margay Racing and Hoosier Kartsport. Hoosier Kartsport is now the official sponsor of 61 Kartway’s 2019 race season, which is titled the ‘Hoosier Championship Series at 61 Kartway.’ Additionally, 61 Kartway will be a servicing dealer for the complete range of Hoosier kart tires!

The Hoosier Championship Series at 61 Kartway will run a 14 Race series this season and 61 Kartway will also host numerous Regional events in 2019. We look forward to another exciting and fun year of kart racing at 61 Kartway!

  • June 2 – Race #5
  • June 22 – Margay Racing Ignite Challenge Series
  • June 23 – Race #6
  • June 30 – Race #7 (Mid-Season – Double Points)
  • July 14 – Race #8
  • July 21 – Race #9 (Kristin Hanrahan Memorial Race)
  • July 27-28 – Cup Karts North America
  • Aug 4 – Race #10
  • Aug 18 – Race #11
  • Sep 8 – Race #12
  • Sep 15 – Race #13
  • Sep 19-21 – Vintage Series
  • Sep 29 – Race #14
  • Oct 13 – 5th Annual 61 Kartway Fall Challenge
  • Oct 20 – Rain Makeup for Fall Challenge

The Delmar, Iowa facility features a technical 11-turn track with more than 30 feet of elevation change each lap. The Hoosier R60B is the spec tire for all classes in 2019. If you’re a 206 racer and never been to 61 Kartway, Race #7 Jun 30, Race #9 Jul 21, Cup Karts, and the Fall Challenge Oct 13 should be on your schedule!

I agree @MSchu1. Absolutely an awesome place to race. For those that loved running at Shawano, this is like the little brother but little brother is tougher. Huge elevation changes, short gearing. Definitely a drivers track.

Maybe we can make it out before the Cup race. Hopefully you and Randy get the chance to put on a good show again. I wouldn’t mind a different result this time around :grin:
