Next Sunday, I will be driving KZ for the first time, and will be at Franciacorta.
I’ve already done a lot of KZ on the simrig, trained Franciacorta on Kart Racing Pro, but do you guys have any tips for a beginner ?

train your legs, neck and forearms
Neck is going to kill me, I was already struggling in the IAME S125 lol
Franciacorta is not so demanding phisically, so you’ll be just fine
Have you driven front brakes? Very unusual.
I did, but with hand-actionnated brakes, not with foot
That is good to hear
but… there is ton of rubber, so get the line , don’t transition for too long otherwise you’ll start to jump as a cangaroo
This is the humblest thing I’ve ever heard you say. You’ll be a beginner for like 30seconds, no doubt.
Once in a blue moon out of character moment, won’t happen again
True story…
I was in a race with Tanguy at NJMP, normal sprint type rental race, so basically 15 laps or so.
Tanguy’s kart threw its chain (belt, actually) and he had to roll into pits, swap kart out, catch back up. Bear in mind this was also Tanguy’s more portly phase (he is slim now) and we were of course racing skinny kids.
He still won, despite being a lap down due to mechanical. It was at this point I realized he’d always beat me. Damn French aliens.
ORLY?
What was then
I hadn’t realized that the suit you got matches the helmet TJ painted for you!
I needed the drip, cant perform without it LOL
Trust your instincts…good drivers in single-speed can adapt to KZ pretty easily IMO. That’s assuming the gear changes come naturally. Also, be patient getting on the throttle…too much too soon and bad things happen lol.
Congratulations…you’re about to experience a whole new world of karting
It is going to ruin me, I will have to get a KZ after that LOL
You after discovering KZ:
This is why I avoid 2-stroke now. It’s too good and will ruin your wallet.
In today’s economic climate it’s really not so bad…just pass on buying your next couple dozen eggs, and forego paying federal income tax and boom, you’re good to go!

Try to brace yourself against the wheel in the hard braking areas, if you don’t you may end up eating the steering wheel the first few times.
