Two of my drivers Mick and Tuki did not even get chance to grid! oh well.
Said the power unit was starting to overheat dramatically so they had to shut it down quick to prevent total failure.
Cooling continues to be a big issue so far. Alonso’s car went into full limp-mode from overheating too.
Not sure if any are following F2, but it seems to be a cool idea to have do a fantasy game for F2. The amount of reshuffling and incidents are just too many, you just cannot predict.
Yeah I was watching. Confused hahaha
Gosh my line up is terribad.
I like the idea of the contracts that GridRival is using, I guess I’m not using it properly as I booked a lot of my drivers for 3+ races, so now it’s not a weekly change like the F1Fantasy style, kinda set it and forget it for a few weeks until you can come back and alter things.
Week 1 should be a grace period for everyone so you can see where drivers have slotted in after all the sandbags have been removed from the cars in testing. I only booked one of the Ferrari drivers for 3 races so obviously at this time I wish it had been extended out for 5 races.
Might get interesting later when a contract comes up and you need that ‘rest’ week with them and need to sign a much worse driver for a week so I can see toward the end of the season get a little more dicey.
I, personally, enjoy the F1Fantasy model a little better but GridRival is growing on me.
That’s why I did 1 race contracts on everything for the first week.
Damn, that’s smart. Ok, I’m understanding this contracts stuff a lot better now.
It only sucked because I actually liked my team the first week and then couldn’t pick them the next week.
I’ve given away my super secret strategy now.
Haha. I’m sure it’s no secret that all of us are looking at adding the Ferrari drivers for as long as possible while they’re as inexpensive as they are.
Ok ll act on this!!! Latfif and Schumacher will be changed.
Oh darn. There goes MY secret. WaY tO gO dUmMy…
Your sacrifice is appreciated.
Schumi might still be good value. But yeah, Latifi is probably the weakest driver on the grid right now, and him crashing twice this weekend didn’t help his cause.
Remember, you can always drop a driver for a fee. It may be worth if you say, maybe, have one of the McLaren drivers at this point.
Fortunately, even though I’m a PapayaHead, I could see that they were having issues early in pre-season training and in Free Practice at Race1. So I dropped both of them before the season started. It hurt though. I miss seeing my McLaren boys in the mix.
I grabbed both for 5 races off the bat!
Alright everyone! Remember to check your lineups before qualifying! 2 am eastern US time.
Nik maintains his lead going into race 3 after a carnage filled Jeddah. I believe everyone had at least one driver with a DNF. Some faired better than others. The top 6 added at least 1m in value with TJ adding 6.1! The top 5 are separated by less than 100 points.
Dom, all I can say is ouch… triple DNF. Bad luck will come to everyone eventually. Everyone hang in there!
Beginners luck in reverse. Oh well!
Im pretty sure im going down this weekend. Out of picks.
