I’ve seen multiple brake presure sensors for the mychron but they all seem to be just for a single brake master cylinder.
Is there any kz brake pressure sensors available, that could calulate the split. I supose you could run two sensors but then how would it connect to the headunit.
The pressure sensors are universal in that they work with MyChron units or the car units. They are actually available in 1/8 npt, M10, and -3 AN (3/8-24) threads so you can avoid adapters.
I’ll make a video on how to look at brake pressure. It would be essentially the same as looking at the position, but would be the actual output of the mc versus the position of the pedal. It would show if you had any fade, line flex, etc.
A note on that link - that is the AiM UK importer. They are the equivalent to the AiM guys in Roanoke/Lake Elsinore in the US (or others in other countries). That kit is from AiMShop in the UK, not the producer AiM in Italy. It can be confusing and catches a lot of people.
I’d love to add one of these sensors into the mix but I personally feel like OTK masters are soo prone to getting air in the master that the sensor reading would never be consistent unless you were bleeding the master every session in the kart.
