Building a twin-100cc kart... on a budget

Sold the trailer for £150, so the kart currently cost me £50 and I still have the stand.

Not sure if I am ready to face actually cleaning it up and inspecting it properly.

Your Dad seemed skeptical.

But 50quid? Seems like a reasonable amount even if it ends up being a paperweight.

This is gonna be epic.

What’s the current status of this project? Inquiring minds want to know…

I have contemplated a dual KT-100 setup…mostly because cheap 100cc reeds are harder to find. And a piston port will last forever and KT’s can be found for $300/ea. now that KA100 has taken over.

What put the kibosh on this for you? I have a love-hate relationship with TT75s…a faulty one is why my wife will never come to the track with me…but they’re great when they’re working…

More an issue with money than anything else atm. Story as old as time
