Can’t believe I’m back here posting again, but after acquiring the jetnuts and going out to the track again - same problem, the nuts backed out!! 
So, in hopes of never dealing with this again, I have now red loctited the nuts on, and have also tried to support/cushion the airbox which I think has been greatly contributing to the forces that the nuts have been succumbing to.
