Hey All,
Just curious for any opinions/ thoughts about the CKR brand of chassis. Don’t know much about them, don’t see them much here in Aus, let me know your thoughts on their performance, tunability, drivability and quality!
Thanks in advance.

I posted awhile back about ckr. I believe there’s no dealer yet in AUS. Their dealer in asia if im not wrong is hongkong or china, japan.
I own an older 2015 (30mm) SG4 Shifter chassis. I haven’t had much time on the kart to have a definitive answer on its performance. But I can agree with what they said on the other thread, build quality does seem to be good, and it does seem responsive, what little time I have on the kart.
But the other CKR thread linked here asked a question that wasn’t conclusively answered there that I would also like to know:
Who is currently the importer for CKR karts in the United States?
Is there a current importer of CKR karts in the U.S.?
Quick search…
The US importer changed recently from “eshifterkart” in Idaho, bit I’m having problems finding who it is… I even searched EKN to see if I could find the info: EKN Search
https://ckr-usa.com/ looks pretty up to date, so there’s that. Although it also says > CKR USA Business For Sale
This Website, Business and Brand is For Sale. Including Exclusive Contracts, Inventory, Race Team Accessories, Full Canopy Tent, Customer Base and More. Contact James directly at 208.384.5278 or use the Contact Us Page on this site.
In general, I would say the chassis is as good as anything out there. It’s a bummer because it seemed like James did a great job of getting eyeballs on karting and shifter karts in general
Correct. The importer for ckr for some reaason selling the business and switched to crg.
