Being from South Florida the only two tracks at a reasonable distance to me to practice/race every weekend are Homestead (AMR Motorplex) and Palm Beach Karting which closed. The good thing about riding at Homestead is that you get to meet some racing legends at the track since they live there and their kids practice and race at Homestead often. A couple weekends ago I got to meet and chat with racing legend Emerson Fittipaldi and he was kind enough to let me snap a pic with him. Very cool and down to earth guy! I have also seen Juan Pablo Montoya often at the track but he does not seem very approachable lol.
