Met a dad who was looking to help his son get going in kart racing. Basically brand new young fella. Spends most of their time down in FL, so there should be many opportunities for Junior racing.

Anyone got any leads on how to get the lad started? I am guessing they could start rental but at a facility which offers lo206 or other forms of affordable race karting?
Does Urace work that area? Any ideas for him to get going down there?

They also have rental stuff and likely series.
Urace is mainly in Orlando.

I’m actually in Tampa right now. Cape Coral/Ft Meyers is tough. It’s about 2 hrs fromTampa and 3 from homestead. Orlando is about 4.
I know a lot of the Orlando guys go to both. I should be in Orlando next month, I can try to see if anyone/team is planning on doing some racing there.
T4 is mainly a Birel dealer whereas OKC is OTK and Homestead sees a different mix. I don’t believe Homestead is a chassis specific dealer. Just depends on what they want in terms of support or if they would just like to jump into it.
