Elkhart GP

This weekend will be my mine and my sons first time racing the Elkhart GP, we are new to kart racing and even newer to street racing (so new that this is our first street race). I run master and he will be running sportsman. What is a good starting point with gearing? With only two practice sessions before qualifying I would like to be in the ballpark. Thank you

3.5ish will get you started. As it speeds up, you will likely drop teeth.

My best advice is to drive at 85%, not 105%. Focus on fun and getting comfortable, not results.

Thank you Derek, yeah I’m ok in the back I’ve spent the whole season back there learning lol.
