60min each is a good starting point. I find I need about 1 hour and 15 min on mine for High. When you say the EGT is low your max target is about 1100 F- 1200 F. However if you don’t have much of a straight or your corner speeds are making the straight shorter you will see lower temps. I was also told you want to see temps climb on the straight. If the temp peaks and starts to drop with wot, then you are lean. In my experience with the KA they don’t run good lean so that is rarely an issue.
Robert, I was only seeing just shy of 800 at the kink in our straight, I was breathing out of the throttle but once I get more comfortable it seems Like that will be flat, giving the temps more time
To climb. As I said, it’s in a good driveable spot for for where I am with my driving ability at the moment.
Clayton, I am excited on a level I havent been in a long time:rofl:. I have a bit of a run to close out our race season but once that happens I will be out as much as possible. I met Romeo face to face and a gentleman named Josh, both were very helpful and encouraging, I kind of needed a little push to get over the nerves. All good let me know the next time you go out! Kink is flat out easy with the KA. You can do it flat in a shifter on a good day. I will probably go Friday night but it will be a mad house with Saturday being a race I believe.
Been awhile since I ran my KA, but you should be approaching 1000 to 1100 at the high end. That will probably come with time as you carry more speed. If it feels like it’s running fine just keep it where it’s at.
