Grease type/amount for inner clutch bearing?

I have regular Lucas Oil grease, will this work? Should I apply a light, medium or heavy coating?

It should be OK. It’s only be used when the clutch is not engaged and the engine is running. Use a decent amount being VERY careful to not have too much such that it runs\leaks onto the clutch shoes.

I like moly based greases, but given the purpose here I don’t think it matters a lot as long as it’s some sort of grease vs a thin oil.
