Hi! Have my new greyhound seat have had it for 3 races and it has a crack allready at bottom post… why is this? I dont step of the corners of seat when stepping in the kart

The mounting tab probably isn’t sitting flush with the seat bottom so there’s a pressure point on the front of the washer digging into the seat.

Yes it’s fixable with a bit of fiberglass and resin. Try to find a fiberglass repair kit. Plenty of YouTube videos showing you how. Looks like you’re hitting the front of the seat on the track or curbs. That’s not helping.

Like the hole is not aligned and sitting in a angle? Im going ti check that!
put a big washer underneath the front mounts but looking at the wear already it’s sitting to low
As others mentioned support under the seat with as large of a washer as you can find. I look for fender washers at the hardware store. I think 3/8" is close to 8mm.
