Helmet homologations are 5 yrs., 10 yrs lifespan Always better to buy right on the fresh homologation for value.
Snell ratings are good for 10 years. So 2020 helmets are still good until 2030. There is an updated rating every 5 years.
The new 2025 rated helmets are coming out now, with Stilo’s out already.
As far as I know, CMR helmet ratings will not change for now.
