Don’t know if they changed it for GoPro, but I know they definitely allowed it at New Castle this year. Either that or they just didn’t enforce because everyone was pushing everyone down the straights.

Not sure about USPKS, but in SKUSA they have allowed bump drafting in qualifying this year, just not in the corners.
The regional series we run, under SKUSA sanctioning, allows bump drafting, but they do not have a “Happy Hour”. Qualifying order is the order you arrive to the grid with where you put your kart down, and then when you decide to go out. Some of the faster guys typically elect to wait until the a majority of the field is halfway to 3/4 of the lap done before they go out, so they don’t have to worry about the slower karts.
