Someone just told me a story about a rotax with high hours selling for $15k. The guy’s claim is that Rotax engines make more power as they wear out.
Is there any truth to this ?
my best pre evo engine was an 09 that had near 60 hours on the bottom end, i always thought similar that as it aged the tolerances got loose and less friction was better.
Probably built to tight from the beginning
Looks something similar I hear sometimes that the engine gets better when the bottom gets loose or something like that
