Is this hole supposed to be in the engine head? 196cc clone engine. Behind the spark plug. I attached 3 pics. It runs good, just recently noticed it there.
If its leaking i dont think so…

Nothing to worry about. Just some thin casting flash that hasn’t been removed. Chip it back with a screwdriver etc.or clear it with a Dremel if it bothers you.
Edit. Had a look at a clone engine here. The ‘hole’ is one end of a cast in passage through the cylinder head under the rocker box. Its purpose is presumably to flow some cooling air from the fan. So no problem . It’s meant to be there. Clean up the rough edges if you choose.
