How Cheap Can You Make a Go Kart?

I recently just made a $200 go kart (from Go Kart Plans).

I want to make another, but I was wondering how cheap go karts can be made? I see these youtubers saying they built one for $50, but I think they are clickbaiting - or are they?

Yea, but I think they also found a frame for free.

In theory you could source every bit and weld it yourself. I saw a video of a young man in Europe making a working kart from scratch. He used wheelbarrow wheels instead of racing hubs, for example.
