I’m installing the seat and wanted to double check. I got ahold of a 2nd hand OTK that had a teenager seat, and the seat support (bottom) bolts are M8 45 … After measuring and installing the side bolts on mine, I’m forecasting a pair of M8 x 65. Is this right and how does it look with others?

you won’t get many replies on this, nobody goes by the length of the bolts on their seat. You simply put the seat where it needs to be and use the relevant length bolts.

The two front bolts are usually long, probably the longest m8 bolts on a typical chassis
Off the top of my head I would say 40mm or longer bolts are not unusual.
Except for those with tons lead hanging off the seat.
I think mine are 3 1/2 inches. KZ kart, seat is pretty far back.
