How many #35 chain links are you using on your LO206 and why?

I ask this question because the used kart that I bought has a 90 link chain and the ones I am seeing online are either 106 or 120. I understand I can use a chain breaker to shorten or lengthen but 90 seemed far off the “out of box” configuration.

Thank you to everybody in these forums, the help is greatly appreciated.

I always end up taking a little chunk out, but I’ve never counted. I just worry about getting the engine to sit where I want it.

I’m with Burpo. Whatever works. I was always in the 100-105 window, but never really cared as long as it worked

i usually end up around 100, but sometimes going from one track to another, with gearing changes, i may add/subtract 2 links. 90 links, with using a 16T or 17T driver would be a bit short for me.

Thank you. When I order the replacement chain I think I will order the longer chain to give me the flexibility to play with the engine placement more.

Never counted, just used as many as needed.

Get to longer chain this way you have extra links in case you scrape the chain and need to replace a link or two.
