Kerb, dropped a wheel off the track or maybe debris. For debris though I’m not sure how a big enough chunk would pass under the frame to do that much damage.
thats what we that happend but the driver behind me had a go pro and i did not go off track and we put the kart on jacks and the frame had no scratches
Did a weight fall off or something and take the sprocket out?

If the chain is being re-used, check it for damage and scuff marks.
Had similar damage. Didn’t tighten down the bolts enough in a hectic gear change. Mangled the hell out of it
