I dont know what happed to this sprocket

Yikes.
Kerb, dropped a wheel off the track or maybe debris. For debris though I’m not sure how a big enough chunk would pass under the frame to do that much damage.

thats what we that happend but the driver behind me had a go pro and i did not go off track and we put the kart on jacks and the frame had no scratches

no we have no idea what happened nothing on track the gopro of the driver behind got nothing

If the chain is being re-used, check it for damage and scuff marks.

Had similar damage. Didn’t tighten down the bolts enough in a hectic gear change. Mangled the hell out of it
