12k startup cost for a decent midfield car, spares, trailer and safety. A budget cost for each season (8 races) would be 8k a year. $900 per race. so youre looking at 2 seasons plus buying a car vs that sim (with realistic rubber projectiles)
Hmm. Given the fact that many get bored within a couple years, the spec Miata is indeed a valid option. I suppose if you are buying 5 figure sim rigs, a spec Miata isn’t out of the cards as well.
