Is there a 206 Witch Doctor in the house?

As a consumer, it’s hard to know what to believe from builders. That always frustrated me early in my karting career.

Are you sure your last leakdown was good? What is good? 0%? 2%? 4%?

What is Stewart’s reasoning? Did he do a leakdown? Or just visual? If he did a leakdown, What does he consider as needing redone?

Ask lots of questions. Understand what your options are. Establish a relationship with your builder. I have no personal experience with Stewart, so I can’t give you any advice there.

FYI, the plug doesn’t worry me at all. Probably an effect of your engine issues, not a cause.

I don’t replace a block until it fails to put up it’s same dyno numbers.

Yeah I probably should have asked more questions. I told him to just replace the short block, which he just did and threw it on the dyno; so now my motor is ready to ship home.

I don’t really have a relationship with Stewart, but everyone around me seems to, so I just went with what was familiar. In the past TS Racing has always done my motors, this is my first go with Stewart Racing Engines.
