Hi everyone, my x30 just ate another piston (54.25). I’m wondering if there are sleeves for the x30.
I’ve been looking online, but I can’t seem to find anything. Is it even worth it to get sleeves? What are the downsides?
Also, I’m getting close to the IAME piston size limit, but Mondokart sells Meteor pistons. Have anyone used them before? Are they reliable?

Try contacting darton. Make sure you have some appropriate measurements of the sleeve when you call.

Sleeve replacements are not race legal in Iame sanctioned races. Iame only sells complete cylinder, to keep tight parity between engines.

What is the reasoning behind this? How could this be abused?
No modifications are allowed to the original engine. When you take out and reinsert a sleeve, you are modifying the engine. It would be too difficult to check all the angles etc.
You would be surprised at how many ways some people try to cheat, unfortunately …
