Ya know, they could put a band on the cement bit and have a summer concert series. “Rocking like the Wind, Karystos Summer Concert Series”.
I now have a new AI mission. I shall bring Metallica to Karystos.
Wellp Metallica was too busy on their current tour to make it out to Karystos. However, the band felt bad so they donated a skateboard park to your town instead.
Hey Stamatis…
America big spaces:
Flight to CA has its moments! I also got photos of what could be (but probably aren’t) race tracks.
Hey, it looks like we are close(ish) to the new K1.
It’s a pity one can’t go directly up and over the mountain that separates the coast.
Upon closer inspection… there is a rt 74 that goes over it.
Appears to be single lane, some sort of park at top? Takes you down other side of mountain to a lake. However, Google refuses to consider this option which probably means it adds hours to the trip.
I shall ponder this. Here’s some more photos:
I think we’ll head to K1. Get away from the coast which has been socked in with fog. Go inland to find laps and perhaps sun.
Theres a secondary server for Flipnote Hatena, so I made this masterpiece.
I called it “Formula A Engines”
The secondary server is called “Sudomemo”, in order to access it, you have to manually set your DNS settings to the server’s DNS. which is located on their guide.
And uh… if you have a DSi without flipnote or a 3DS/2DS like me, you might have to do some homebrew and piracy.
That’s epic. I love it.
An online service, titled Flipnote Hatena (うごメモはてな, Ugomemo Hatena), allowed users to download flipnotes created by other users and to post stills from flipnotes to the sharing site Miiverse . The service officially retired on May 31, 2013.
Today we get Eastern European mopeds courtesy of karolis__ 4 _.
These are Soviet era bikes.
He’s 16 and lives in Lithuania and restores old mopeds! He also like go-karts!
The song is called “The Art of Peer Pressure” by Kendrick Lamar.
Is that a mustang sir ???
I thought that might tickle your fancy. This being a pretty arid state, I have seen a number of restored classics.
Speaking of, here’s a nice merc
Here’s an unusual one:
I saw many many nice cars. Ferrari, Aston, Rolls, all the fancy E cars, lambos
, mclarens etc.
But my favs were the old beautifully restored cars. I wasn’t able to photograph the gorgeous black convertible Mercedes from the 50s or thereabouts that drove by me. Stunning.
Oh I forgot about the Volkswagens… so many beautiful pre 1980 buses in perfect condition. Here’s a bad drive by shot of one…
TBF given the wealth in the area I think the old normal cars that were gorgeous like the VW buses were more of a flex than a hypercar.
Car enthusiasts chilling in a parking lot as they are wont to do:
I did not see a single Baja Bug which used to be prominent in San Diego area in my childhood. Those were dope!
I have a VR98, I hope this video is not an omen
James daughter taught us that kart is trak spelled backwards. Think about it.
What about racecar spelt backwards.
Mind blown.

I’m trying to assist in an archiving effort, and i’ve made a couple maps for little documented tracks in my neck of the woods.
St. John’s (NL) Street Circuit:
Used only once for CASC Formula Atlantic in 1974, quite a track to behold, having the main not-straight dropping 30 metres into the first corner, and goes around NL’s confederation building.
Valley Raceway:
First opened in 2012, this is considered the only non-paved oval in Atlantic-Canada. It doesn’t really host major series though.
Debert Airfield Circuit:
The road course that predates Atlantic Motorsport Park, it hosted few CASC Formula Atlantic races and many club races. It was closed down due to the airfield reopening. One year later, A new road course opened in Mill Village, and the rest is history.
